how hard is it to replace my floor pans and rocker panels myself instead of paying someone to do it. has anyone ever done it before?

I think it would be fair to say that Just about everyone here has had to do this exact work at sometime or another...

 

Depending on your skill level this is a fairly easy repair just can be time consuming...

 

Welding in the new Metal is preferred but I have seen folks rivet them in and do a nice job when all is done...

And fiberglass, I've seen outstanding work with fiberglass, plus it's easier to work with and easily just as strong when layered up.

Please don't consider fiberglass on structure like floors or rockers unless its minor, always remember at the root these are unibody trucks
