Jeepman Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 I think it would be fair to say that Just about everyone here has had to do this exact work at sometime or another... Depending on your skill level this is a fairly easy repair just can be time consuming... Welding in the new Metal is preferred but I have seen folks rivet them in and do a nice job when all is done...

And fiberglass, I've seen outstanding work with fiberglass, plus it's easier to work with and easily just as strong when layered up.
