88whitemanche
Can any of you guys can take a pic of your transfer case linkage? Before I go and diagnose my 4x4 engaging problem I want to gather as much details as I can so I can diagnose my problem besides the cad box or transfer case
87Warrior
This is what my linkage looks like: (yes, I know the output seal is shot) 86, 2.5, AX5, 207. The linkage on this transmission is unlike any others I have seen. It does not utilize the linkage mount on the transmission tunnel, even though it is there. I am not sure where this transmission/tcase came from but the linkage set up is different than on the 91, 2.5, AX5, 231....

88whitemanche
For some reason I guess the collar slipped from the fork of the cad and slid to far to the left and not engaging both shafts to spin as one....so slid it back to have both spinning and viola! 4wd and lifted it on jackstands to ensure it was working
