i want to get some 8mm wires, a good cap/rotor, and a new coil. i know i could just go to autozone and get somthing that will work, but i want something better.

 

also wondering if it is worth it to get a throttle body spacer, or bored out throttle body, and if so from who?

if its the renix motor...spacers are hard to find if any....if its the HO spacers are endless...i just did a basic autozone tuneup and it did wonders

just so you guys know, i bought a "cheep" set of wires for my ranger and it ran crappier, come to find ou the wires were having to much resistance. i love my 9mm low resistance wires.

I consider spacers to worthless on an MPI engine until someone can tell me why it produces more power. Bored out TBs can produce good results and if you're flowing more air, feel free to bump up a bit in Injector size. Aren't Mustang 5.0L injectors a tad bit bigger than the HOs?

:P someone told me to put a tb spacer with some "vortex technology" on my 3800 that's in the MJ...i don't have enough room to fit it :( but "vortex technology" sounds really cool :D

They arent necassarily bigger they just have a better spray pattern

 

i have a 87 4.0 with a K&N cone air, 5.0 injectors, flowmaster...runs great

try magnacor.com for wires. go to apex performance to buy them. they are great wires.
