NHMJXJ Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Anyone have a source for OEM seat cover replacements? Mine has the typical cracking of the vinyl on the side of the seat. For the most part the interior is pristine, but open the driver's door and your view is drawn to that nasty seat. May as well be big as a house and painted orange, because it's hard to miss. I need the seat base for the driver's side, in Agate.
yellaheep Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Would be MUCH cheaper to have that section replaced by an upholstery shop than try to source a full cover set. But, the only place I know to be able to get anything like a "kit" is from Katzkin. It's expensive, but they've taken the time to do digital measurements of damn near every car out there and can make up replacement covers in pretty much any fabric or leather you can think of...... :dunno:

But I ended up choosing perforated leather because I added seat heaters. But yeah I'm not sure what they offer for all makes/models. I went from this: To this with seat heaters added:

relyt120 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 There is this ebay seller ,macsusedcars0,I follow on ebay. He sells the seat covers he salvages, usually in great condition. Little pricey for me but probably your best bet.

I bought a set of XJ Cordovan seat covers from him that look new, I'm still kicking myself for not getting the door panels too. In this case the price was worth it. He sells other parts too and is worth checking out.

I missed the last two posts, but just did a search on eBay and this guy rivals Jim for having "the stuff". I'm going to cross post some OEM seat covers to the classifieds. I would have snapped them up, but I already recovered the buckets in my MJ ... the one I'm looking for is for the XJ. Tyler and Kerry ... thanks for the lead!
NHMJXJ Posted June 2, 2015 Author Posted June 2, 2015 Still in search of, and the urgency is increasing. Online searches turn up entire seats ... no one will part with just the fabric. I'll be selling my present XJ and the drivers seat is a huge turn off. At this point, either driver's or passenger side will work. Has to be better than looking at that nasty cracked vinyl.
