87manche
not a problem, I rode 10 hours to flatnasty, beat the hell out of it and rode back. easy to be a truck, hard to be a Jeep
tjbliley
Mjeff and I are near Richmond VA so we will keep a look out for you. I don't know if it would change the ride but you could come down through richmond and take 85 all the way in.

Rokhound
Just my thought take an extra tire and a set of tools and a coolant bottle if you have one. This is the only issues I have had with mine and good luck.

Duner
Oh yea the thing that hangs under the back of the bed that collects mud and aids traction. I thought it was part of the sophisticated jeep traction control system but your saying people actually use them. I think if jeep had intended us to use a spare they would have designed that space to carry a 37" tire and would not have left so much room for patch kits and fix-a-flat. Yep I'm sure it is just part of the trac control system on my MJ.
mjeff87
PM-ing you my cell # in case you have any problems. Be safe, and have fun! I-81 is beee-u-tiful country, just watch out for all the truck traffic. Jeff
