I'll post pictures soon. And no the track bar was not fitting so I put the new one on. Everything is good now except those drop brackets. It would have probably lifted it a little bit more. It's sitting at about 5" right now in the front. Haven't started on the back yet.

It looks like rust but its not, its just dirty. The guy rhinolined the frame along with these drop brackets and the dirt stick to them.

Thanks. They look aftermarket and there was no way for the drop brackets I bought to mount to those ones. That's why we thought they were from the prior owner

Comanches have an extra brace that supports the LCA mounts.  Cherokees don't have this and if the drop brackets were designed for an XJ, then they may not work on an MJ.  some do, but some don't.

I hate to keep burdening you all with questions and my inexperience but is the spring over axle doable without welding? I can't find a welder here in my town and I don't want to buy one. Or can I do it and not off road and take it easy until I can weld it? It's my daily driver and right now its sitting with a godawful rake with the front jacked up.

don't wory about the questions we all are here for the same reasons.

To do a spring over you must weld the new perches on. If you can remove the axle and do the prep work your self ( gringing off the old perches, and locating the new ones) you could probably get a shop to weld it together fairly cheap. A muffler shop can probably do it.
