The wife got me the "Best of...." CD for my birfday :chillin:

 

Been listening to it all morning here at work. I used to be big into truckin' and CB-ing waaaay back in the day. My older brother had the CB, and his handle was Cracker......mine was Crumbs.

I used to be a jukebox mechanic so I've listened to my share of C.W. My brother and I also used to do the CB thing. I bug him about where he lives now: "...on I one - 0 'bout a mile outta Shakey Town.." :thumbsup:

My wife refused to download anything to her iPod. That's how I ended up with the CD :roll:

 

I hope to maybe someday wheel (or even live near) some of the places he sings about.

Yep, I have to admit that I too like C.W. McCall, can't take a drive down the interstate with my cousin without listening to convoy.

My kids look at me funny :nuts: when one of those old songs starts playing and I can say all the words. I can't sing so songs like Convoy or Hot Rod Lincoln are the extent of my performances.
