1992 Sportruck In Bama

I went and looked at this since it was a 92 Sportruck and it was only a mile away. Here's some pics:

Runs/drives well. 2.5L w. 5-speed. 2WD, Dana 35. Body is solid, but needs paint (obviously) and driver floor pan. Interior pretty good. According to seller:  New clutch and tires two weeks ago. 180K on odometer, new engine 70K ago. Engine looks clean and it idles well. Started sanding body in prep for paint. Purchased from original owner. Claims he gets 30 MPG. Reason for selling: He needs an auto tranny due to bad knees. He's asking $2.4K but will take less I'm sure. Seller's name is Mark. And no, I didn't meet this guy until today.  :yes:

Oh wow you don't see that package very often, especially on a 92 but that paint is obviously past the point of saving. I'd say $1500 for it if it ran and shifted very well and the panels all lined up. Paint's gone but otherwise looks saveable.

I would probably pay half that.  If it had more options, or didn't need a complete exterior overhaul, I could pay closer to his asking price, but she needs a lot of TLC.

Yep, agree, it's overpriced as MJs usually are here. But it does drive and stop nice, and since it's a 92, thought I'd post it up. That reminds me - have to go back and get the VIN.
