JeepcoMJ
do you have the one with the big fuel pump gauge and the dummy lights, if so, it's easy. the main thing is that you have to get a oil pressure sending unit for your engine size with the gauges, and a temp. sending unit for your engine with gauges as well. other than that it will bolt up. if you have the fuel pump cluster with the temperature and/or the oil gauge, you will not have to switch the sending units (most likely). then it's complete bolt up, switching the sending units respectively to their corresponding gauge. if you have a cable driven speedo, then get an xj cluster from one with cable drive. one from the same year or relatively close to your year would work, but you HAVE TO switch out those sending units, or your oil pressure gauge won't work and your temperature gauge won't work. dfreeman616
is your truck auto, and if so does it have a column shifter? don't forget about the PRND2-1 indicator. it will still bolt up, but you have to modify the tach faceplate & the gauge cluster housing, as well as swap the indicator. it's not hard to do, i have some pics of when i did it if you want.
