I tried the sliding across the hood trick once. I think if the hood had been closed I might have made it.

Back in highschool we filmed an "action" scene where a guy did the hood slide as part of the video we did for the Christmas concert. As we were previewing the finished film in class, he stood up and shouted "that's how I got the dent in my hood!"

Moral of the story: 4ycl Dodge Spirits are not intended for action sequences....
