Mj Swb Oem Fuel Tank Skid Plate

Hey all-

I feel kind of crappy for registering with the website simply to sell something....but I got ahold of an OEM fuel tank skid for a short wheel base MJ. It was on a 1988 model year. I tried to sell it in the NAXJA for sale thread, in the NAXJA MJ-specific forum, in the Southeast Chapter forum, and on Craigslist. One of the Red River Chapter members suggested that I check around over here.

The skid comes with no hardware (read: bolts). I did sand down all the rust and prime and repaint it. The inside is flat black, and I did the outside in a silver. I would be happy to FedEx it anywhere on your dime.

I posted it locally for $50, but I'm not fixed on needing to get a specific amount for the skid. I just want to see one of my fellow Jeepers get something they need for their truck. Make me an offer and shipping would be on your dime. FYI, doing a quick quote on FedEx.com, the 2 day ground shipping from TN to TX was about $25 and to Los Angeles was about $35. If you want to do a shipping check, it would be coming from 37027.

I am on the national board of directors on the NAXJA site - I'm sure some of y'all on here know me. So, yeah, I'm a legitimate seller!!

Best way to reach me would be to hit me on the NAXJA PM's if you are a member, or respond through the e-mail on the attached craigslist add.

Yep. I did. You interested? If so, I'll probably be over in Laverne on Sunday pulling ZJ and XJ parts at Express.

Hopefully you'll get what you need, I was there on Saturday and I swear ive never seen it so busy, But with a record 5 97+ xj's there you may be able to find most anything you need.

I pulled a set of doors off the maroon one on the end of the first row. I've got to get back out there...
