comancheMJ
I got a 1986 Jeep Comanche 5 Speed with AC, Power steering, with the serpentine belt, it is NOT the twin belt set UP. I can not find a new pulley & Power steering assembly for this application. Does anyone know what other jeeps are direct bolt on for a smooth replacement? Reason is because my pulley got bent and the Serpentine belt falls off every time on start up. Any help is Very Much Appreciated. Thanks ;p

jimoshel
Sounds like somebody may have done a engine swap, dropping in a later year engine.Any year 2.5 from a '87 up should work. "86 was the last year for V Belts in the XJ-MJ, with "87 using the serpentine.

MJRemi
You said the reason is due to a bent pulley. If you don't need the pump replaced, take the pulley to NAPA or the Stealership and have them help you find the match. If you need the pump assembly, I saw a bunch on Rockauto and local parts stores probably can get them as well. I saw one on ebay for 84-86 but it was a two-belt pulley. dasbulliwagen
I had same issue. The dealership was able to get one through their vintage parts connection. It may still be available. I bought mine a few years ago, so theres really no telling without trying.

I am unsure if it is just the pulley that is damaged or the screw tightened to keep it secure. So I want to be safe and order a whole new pump, pulley, What type of tool do you use to remove just the pulley from the power steering pump? comancheMJ
I may experiment with this and see how this works... Down fall it is plastic. On the bright side it is the six groove and dimensions of this would be good to know. Might be one of those no other option deals before I go to the next extreme. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dorman-Power-Steering-Pulley-Serpentine-6-Groove-Plastic-Black-Jeep-Dodge-Each-/330862675500?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AJeep&hash=item4d08f3c62c&vxp=mtr
