airspeed Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 It was a nice day so went out and started dinking around with the old Comanche, pulled the plugs, wow! They were pretty clean but the gaps was burned to ~ .050!! Two of them in the photo show the intake side and two show the exhaust side.

airspeed Posted January 27, 2013 Author Posted January 27, 2013 That 2.5 is a rebuild from Autozone, it came from an engine rebuilder down in Missouri called Proformance. Lucky for me it was one of Autozone's better vendors. I think I paid $1275 for the complete engine including new tin and covers. The motor has 42k on it now.
dasbulliwagen Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Ive seen much worse than those running still with no misfires. I mean like worn down level with the insulator worn. They look good though. Throw in a new set and call it a day! Check your cap and rotor too, might be time for those as well!
