Rear Window Removal

How the heck to I remove a very nice rear slider w/o damaging it?

 

91 Elm, hate to see good parts go to waste.

If you can find the little piece of "cable" it makes an incredible difference. Any kind of small thin cable, do you have an old bicycle? Look at the brake cable, strip it down a little and there you go. Another thing that is mandatory for an easy job is a good supply of razor blades for your utility knife.

Well i broke it. Got a little too hog wild I guess. More patience next time... :(

Ooh, sorry to hear that bud. I am curious as to how it broke, pictures?

First the seal was bad. I ripped it with my fingers pulling it out. The passenger side bottom corner came loose pretty easy. I was working up the side and the window shattered. I have a tendency to get a little excited and learn from the school of hard knocks...sorry no pics. Didn't even think of it.
