Rokhound Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 My baby got new shoes, I think she wears them nicely they might be a size or two small but I think they look good. What do you think?? They stick out just a little bit
Mitch Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 maybe could have gone one size larger?? Regaurdless it looks awesome!
Rokhound Posted March 6, 2007 Author Posted March 6, 2007 thank you i just want to drive these darn thing so bad but i am still building it little buy little it is getting there so maybe by this time next year it will be up and going.
JeepcoMJ Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 i think they're the perfect size...still have room for flex and travel, while gettin awesome grip!
Pete M Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Looks like a good size to me. You guys and your inch-itus. :D
Rokhound Posted March 6, 2007 Author Posted March 6, 2007 hey some guys over on Pirate said these tires arent worth a $#!& is this true. Any one every run this on the trail or are they just a mall crawler tire.
87manche Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 are those the baja claws or xterrains? I've seen the baja claws in action, of the 35" and stupid wide variety. They did plug up with mud, and required a lot of wheelspin to clear. They didn't seem to directionally stable in an offcamber situation involving mud. Other than that they seemed to do just fine, just not an all out mud tire.

Mitch Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 They will perform just fine... there is always a better choice, but you should be happy with those, personally I won't wheel anything other than Swampers, but swampers suck for a DD.
87manche Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 it will be fine, comprimises must be made, like Mitch said, I run swampers too. They're freaking amazing tires, but I ran them on the street for a moth, and it was bone jarring.
comancheon33 Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 That thing looks great. I have ran my Boggers on the street before and bone jarring is close to right feeling. I think you will like the claws. I checked them out before I bought my Boggers but the new price was about the same either way. I need to get some pics upof my little guy. I just put ZJ coils in and 29x10x50x15 TSLs on it. Looks great but still 2wd with a high pinion 30 in it non-disco.
RandysMJ Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 I run 37" Claws and i have nothing bad to say about them. They have performed great on every terrain i've put them through.
BarracudaBlueXJ Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 thats one nice looking mj i think the size is perfect for it and i have a friend running claws and has never had any problems with them, they are a great all around tire
