gogmorgo
Woke up to seven inches of snow today, guess winter's not getting pushed back any further. And to think, the last crops came off just three weeks ago. I took pics of my MJ under it's blanket, but somehow I've misplaced my camera :( But seven inches of snow makes driving around campus (and the surrounding areas) really frustrating. The roads are reasonably clear of snow, but not of immigrants... I got stuck behind some guy so slow I was riding the brakes at idle so I wouldn't run into him... :headpop:
87Warrior
Huh, that's too bad. I enjoyed a nice 68 degree drive in the MJ this afternoon. Perfection with a little bit of overcast :)

Immigrants in Saskatoon? Where are they from? Calgary?
gogmorgo
Apparently it got all the way up to 37F yesterday... Universities attract people from around the world? I think I agree with you, if I was a "new Canadian" with a choice as to where to go, I don't think my first pick would be Saskatoon...
richasco
It just depends on which side of the fence you are on, I'm stuck in Nassau until Monday afternoon. I would much rather be at home enjoying the cold weather.

I had to fly up there a couple of times a few years ago to take care of selling some wheat land my brother-in-law owned. Kind of desolate flat place. Real friendly folks everywhere I went though. gogmorgo
That is true. Desolate flat place with a huge sky, decent soil and lots of expensive things in the ground which is frozen solid five months of the year. I'm here for the friendly people, though. And honestly for the cold winter. After a couple years on the North shore of Lake Ontario, I started to miss it somehow...
