Chall08
Is there any way of telling exactly what year model(s) xj my axles came out of ? Either by way of numbers or certain characteristics or any other way you may know of. Btw they're under an 87 4.0 4wd MJ. I started putting them under it about 5 years ago and never finished the project so now I'm back at it. Right now I'm a the point of buying rotors and pads and I can remember what year model these axles came from. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Geonovast
I'm not sure on the D30, but for the back, there were only 3 sets of brakes used. The 10 x 1.75 on the D35 84-89, the 10 x 2.25 used on the D44, and the 9 x 2.25 used on the 90-01 D35 and all the 8.25s.
Rymanrph
Does the front axle have a vacuum disconnect? High pinion or low pinion? If the rear axle is an 8.25 is it a 27 or 29 spline?
mvusse
Do the front calipers bolt directly to the steering knuckle using metric bolts, or do they bolt to a bracket with Allen bolts that in turn bolts to the knuckles with E12 inverse Torx bolts?
