Pete M
bought a cheap-as-hell wirelless mouse off ebay and shipped from china. the driver seems to have loaded properly, but all the mouse does is blick once or twice when I turn it on. then nothing. No paperwork to check, no part number to look up. got what I paid for I guess. ideas? I've sent an email to the seller, but lord only knows how good their english will be. :dunno:
Geonovast
Have you tried a different battery? It must have been DAMN cheap, Wal Mart has crappy wireless mice for $12.

dave92cherokee
When you hooked it up did you sync it up to the wireless receiver? Not sure about the one you have but most of the have to have the button on the receiver pressed then press the button on the mouse to sync them together. Pete M
I don't see a button on the reciever. . . :(
Geonovast
Most wireless mice are already paired with their receiver. They'll work with their receiver, and no others. The only mice I've ever seen with a sync button are the ones that come with keyboards, and the keyboard and mouse share a receiver. I paid $35 for my mouse... but it's bluetooth, and I don't have to worry about sucking up a USB port with one of those stupid dongles.
Automan2164
Who needs a mouse? That's what the little pad on the laptop is for. Half the time I'm surfing from the couch anyway. Rob
Pete M
dragging my finger across that little pad seems to affect said finger in a negative way. after a short while the tip of my index goes tingly and then numb. same with smart phones. apparently I didn't get the best genes in the world... :dunno:
