rocketwheels
.....yep, you guys said to watch for it, and today, wet spots started showing up on the floor board. Crawled under the dash for inspection....very light seepage coming out of the rubber boot and down the shaft to the linkage bar, Doesnt apear to be dripping directly onto the fuse box, but there were a few moist spots. I've covered the box with a small baggie for now, I paid attention to the horror stories! Is there some way to rebuild or replace these seals, or is a new cluth master cyclinder in order??? Oizarod115
new clutch master is cheap/easy... but i don't know if you can replace the seals. my clutch master cyl just decided to quit working one day. so i replaced it... IIRC its about 30 bucks (do NOT go to pepboys, itll be 70 and wrong part) and all it requires is unbolting the old one, replacing, and bleeding. Eagle
Even factory rebuilts usually only last about 6 minths. Go to a Jeep dealer and pay the price for the real deal. This is one place where it's worth it.
