Installing a factory gas tank skid plate

I swapped beds on my MJ, and the bed I replaced mine with doesnt have the nuts welded on the inside of the frame rail for the gas tank skid plate to bolt in. Soooo my question is how have you guys bolted on factory gas tank skidplates on to your truck that didnt come with it? Any suggestions or ideas are higly appreciated

I just did this. You have to purchase nutserts that fit in the existing 1/2" ID mounting holes and a tool to install them. Or make your own tool as I did. I needed six nutserts for my LWB.
