dancome433 Posted August 21, 2012 Share Posted August 21, 2012 I swapped beds on my MJ, and the bed I replaced mine with doesnt have the nuts welded on the inside of the frame rail for the gas tank skid plate to bolt in. Soooo my question is how have you guys bolted on factory gas tank skidplates on to your truck that didnt come with it? HOrnbrod Posted August 21, 2012 Share Posted August 21, 2012 I just did this. You have to purchase nutserts that fit in the existing 1/2" ID mounting holes and a tool to install them.
