jimoshel Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 I have been trying for over an hour to upload some pics using Photo Bucket. It ain't working. Can anybody recommend a more user friendly app than PB?
neohic Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 As much as I don't like being a part of it, I like how easy Facebook is to use. I mostly don't like being on Facebook due to my job as I'm an instructor at a technical college... social interaction with students can be a gray area sometimes so I just choose to avoid it. Fortunately, I'm invisible! I went through all of the personal setting and set everything to "personal" and "not view able unless by friends" so the only way for other people to see anything in my profile is if I had friends on Facebook. As sad as it sounds... I have no friends. The pictures people see are the ones that I post outside of Facebook. Pretty much, I only use it as a photo host. It's like hiding in plain sight! Another thing about Facebook is that there isn't any limit to how many pictures you post with it. I used to use Photo Bucket for everything but the fear that someday I'd use my limit was always in the back of my mind.
danbyrambler Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I like google drive but if you're finding PB difficult I can't say that it'd be easier - What OS are you using? XP, VISTA or WINDOWS 7 ?
jimoshel Posted July 28, 2012 Author Posted July 28, 2012 Windows 7. Most of the time I have no problem with PB. Them for wwhatever reason I can't get anything to work. Usually I can't find a screen or function I want.

Edit your pic locally on your computer with a simple graphics editor of your choice exactly as you want it to appear before you upload it to PB. I use Paint Shop Pro and it does everything I want. Save the pic on your hard drive as a .jpg file, then upload it to PB. Use PB as a image host only.
