what else besides 8screws for the bed

Hey guys I have an 88 short ned and was wondering.is there any other bolts to remove or any other accessorie to removebesidea yhe 8 bolts to remove the bed ?

make sure you detach the fuel filler neck :doh:

and the tank straps of course.

8 bolts. Four in front of the axle, 2 in the X member, 2 behind the rear axle. There is a plug to unplug the wiring for the tailights and such.

 

I just pulled the fuel tank right out of the truck and carefully unbolted everything from the bottom of the box.

Don't you also have to remove the spare tire jack and exhaust hanger towards the rear of the bed? And remove the parking brake bracket thingy in the middle of the bed?
