Street promote!

Was out and about today to pick up some tools and some new jeans and had an opportunity to street promote Comanche Club. We were on our way to the store, and while turning onto the highway, I caught a black libby on black steelies nose up to a blue truck with it's hood up on the other side of a frontage road. I didn't think much about it, until my girlfriend shouted out about a Comanche. I looked back up, and the blue truck was in fact an MJ. I am a little ashamed of myself for missing it, but proud that she caught it. I had to drive quite a ways to get onto the frontage road, but I eventually pulled up behind and started spreading the gospel. Angela snapped a pic of me working the magic.

 

 

Hope he finds his way here.

He said he had swapped in a 350, and it's been nothing but problems. The alternator wire had came loose or rubbed on something and killed it. He was thinking about putting a 4.0L in and ridding himself of the headache.

Haven't done any street promoting for a while, but I got a few new guys at my local auto parts store all excited when I told them I was picking up some parts for my '87. One of them was surprised and couldn't believe any of those were still around, and he ran out and gave it the look-a-round. It was pretty nice.

Hey rob, guess I did have an account on here. Been a while since I've logged in. Can't tell ya how much I appreciate you stopping to see if I needed help. Ill have to make it a habit to keep getting on here.
