92 ranger camper shell,will it fit a comanche?

I found a nice Leer cap on a 92 ranger (old square body style) in the jy today.does anyone know how well it wold fit a comanche shortbed?pics would be great,thanks

Measure it. No other shell will fit an MJ perfectly except an MJ specific shell. The MJ roof height and cab angle is like nothing else. The closest fit is from a 1994 and below S10, but IMO it looks like crap because of the above reason(s).

I don't think so. I had to cut my cap to make it fit my MJ. the bed of an mj is not the same width front and rear.

I went to look at a 99 S-10 topper.

 

It was about an inch short all the way around.

 

Both sides - 1" too short, each side

Length was good - SWB

Height at cab was 20.5" - MJ is 21.5"

 

It'd be usable, but I like things to line up right.

 

I also looked at on on a 94 Ranger SWB - it was right on (well, maybe 1/4" too narrow.) Unfortunately it was a POS.

I just put on a ranger tonneau cover. The back of the bed on an MJ is about a inch smaller in width. I'm not sure though if you can make a topper work. If you can get some numbers I can compare to my MJ topper.
