jakeWI
Signed up on here along time ago. Wade (89eliminator) and (Pat) jeepcomj first told me about it. Signed up then never posted because my first MJ never went threw and I cut back on forums. Well now I am back. Trying to sell my second XJ to get into a whole new MJ build. I have a lot of ideas for it, but need to get rid of the XJ first. Anyway, Jake from SE Wisconsin Currently have a 1996 XJ with some stuff. jakeWI
Well hopefully my XJ is sold this week. Have a line on a 1986 Long Bed with a 2.8L (gone right away), split rear window, MJ roll bar, Grizzly Wheels, Mint rear bumper, red interior, bed mat. Plans have been going crazy in my head. I plan on selling the stuff I don't want off of it and continuing the build with my left over XJ money and then some. Tossing around ideas. But I am thinking 4.7 Stroker from ATK, MJ D44, E-Lockers front and rear. Not sure about lift. Got some procomp wheels picked out if I don't use the grizzly's. BFG AT's or KM2's. Warn Winch. Been tossing up the idea of building my own front bumper again which is way more beef then an ARB. But I am also thinking about the ARB if I find one used since I did love mine when I had it. More to come!
Automan2164
Sweet. Hopefully it works out. Most people avoid '86's like the plague. If you are interested, I would trade you all of my grey interior stuff for your red stuff. Most don't like the red... I am forced to because my diesel has a factory red, and I am trying to keep it original. If you decide to ditch the rollbar, keep me in mind. That is, if you get the truck. 89eliminator
so are you going to winterfest if you sell the jeep?
jakeWI
I am going to winterfest no matter what. Right now the jeep is already loaded on the trailer waiting for winterfest. I am hoping the guy buys it down at winterfest because I can just pick up that other one right away while I am in the area. If I sell the XJ next weekend, I am actually hopefully buying two MJ's right away... P.S the roll bar is already spoken for. I'll have to think about the interior. jakeWI
Well I did not make it to winterfest this weekend. Sucks. Paid and everything and still missed out due to many things. But I did sell my XJ this past weekend. I have been working on acquiring a 1992 LongBed and it has been no luck so far. So this weekend I plan on taking a look and hopefully buying a 1988 shortbed. Hopefull I can pick it up and start the build!

jakeWI
O boy. Supposed to go look at the 1988 MJ tomorrow. What I know about it, 1988, 4.0, 5 speed, split rear window, shortbed, silver and looks fairly clean. Plan on buying it as long as the guy didn't lie to bad about the shape of the thing. jakeWI
Anyway, I ended up picking up a 1991 Jeep Comanche Eliminator. Shortbed, 4.O, 118k, 2wd, shortbed roll bar, factory bed mat, original interior and clean:
mvusse
It's the Barbie edition! That's even worse than my purple and silver one.
