88wickedmj Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 i have a 1988 comanche pioneer i did a 4wd sawp on and my speedometer cable isnt long enough for the conversion i stretched it and it fit but i soon realized that the cable broke at the speedometer and i can't find a speedometer cable for it if anyone has one who could send it to me ill pay for it all mine has the plastic clip that holds it to the speedometer thats what broke please someone help me
nitroxsteve Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Advance Auto parts has them PN. 03269 $21.99 They do not list them for the Comanche and not for all years of Cherokee. This did fit my 88 with no cruse controll with no problems.
Jeep Driver Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I got mine at Advanced. It's the longer one without cruise control for the XJ. My plastic clip is broke too...........just hold it in place as you install the cluster.......it'll stay.
