Biotex Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 After going over my new 88MJ, I have decided the first think I'd like to modify is the basic guage cluster package. Assuming I can find one available with the factory tach and non idiot lights, was wondering if the wiring harness will accomodate the swap. My experience is that only one harness was manufactured, so all the connections should be there. Is this ASSumption correct? What years should I be looking for to find the cluster I want?
Blue88Comanche Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 90 down will be a direct swap, another way is if the plastic is blue it will work. you will need to change the sending units for coolant temp and oil pressure. maybe someone can chime in with the part numbers for the sending units.

Pete M Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 87=90 are what you'll be looking for. try car-part.com for a junkyard search. ya might get lucky and find one listed near you. don't forget that you'll need to swap the oil pressure switch and high temp switch to the appropriate sensors. :thumbsup:
