Shane Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 I'm lookin for an easy not so expensive way to lift my MJ alittle. It is my DD so I won't be takin it offroad on a regular basis, but I want the look of a small lift. I have been searching on the internet and read that shackles from a Chevy Z71 will give a little lift. Is this true? I don't want it to wobble or anything so is this a sensiable way to go? If so what size spacers would be recommended? As I said before I am not a mechanic but I love these truck and tnkering with them, so any advice is appreciated. These are on the shelf, in store, not behind the parts counter. The box is blue. Year? I used 1995 when searching online. Pete M Posted August 10, 2012 Share Posted August 10, 2012 Chevys use their shackles in a reverse orientation from us (the leaf spring bushing is above the frame bushing) so the longer it is, the lower the truck.
