WJ error code 9?

Has he tried cycling the key on-off 3 times? I am not sure if it will show the codes on his, but it might. I don't know if they did that in 2001. That scanner at the auto parts store sounds shifty. Rob

It's a good day when you learn something - gracias. I said that because I tried it on my 01 XJ and it didn't work. Nothing happened. :dunno:

 

But this old dog is never too old to learn, and my next six HLs are dedicated to you Rob. :cheers:

My 2000 XJ would not do it either. But, my 04 WJ and 07 Cummins both do it. :dunno:
