Donkey
Have an 88 has a 2.5 which is throttle body injection. While accelrating at lower rpms it will stumble does it in all gears so not just from a dead stop. It's like it loses power to keep climbing in the rpms however it does not loss speed just kinda gets stuck at that rpm then goes. Today I came to a stop and it started running ruff almost shut off and the oil pressure went to 20. When I accelerated it was the same issue before just worse. It would get to 2000 rpms and not get over it. But then it went away just like the stumble it only does it occasionally. To me it seems like it's starving for fuel but i don't know I'm going to let someone who's been working on these engines for years see what he thinks, but thought I'd see if other have ever had this issue. Jeep Driver
Sound similar to what mine was doing but not as badly as yours. Changed out my 02 sensor, throttle position sensor, and temp sensor (intake) and all is well now.
carnuck
I would find a nearby Amsoil dealer and get their fuel system cleaner/treatment. Since you have only 1 injector, any clogs are REALLY noticeable. Other brands of cleaners have been known to cause the injector O ring to go bad.
