XxStirCrazedxX Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Anyone ever try to put a 96 4.0 intake (P#53010236) on a 94 4.0 Engine? I know the P/S brakets don't interchange, but can one make it work? i ask cuz i broke a ear off my intake and want to fix it before i sell it and i have a spare 96 intake sitting here collecting dust. (I have to much of a heart to sell broken stuff to some poor Sap)
Jeepman Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 The intakes are the exact same except for what you already mentioned which is the PS mount... So you either change the PS pump and mounting bracket to match the 96+ intake or you get creative and make the 94 PS pump bolt onto the newer intake... Oh or just get the 91-95 intake manifold and keep it simple...
