mjstiltheydie Posted January 10, 2007 Share Posted January 10, 2007 Has anyone had any luck locating a leak that seems to be running down beside the rear window? The rear window it self does not leak. It is running out from between the two layers of sheet metal to the sides of the rear window, so it is impossible to see where it is coming from. Drahcir495 Posted January 10, 2007 Share Posted January 10, 2007 I had the same problem, this is what I found out in my case. The body shop guy was trying to figure out where the leak in the rear was coming from. I have my headliner out and he noticed a bit of light coming through. The leak is in the pinch seam on the roof. It is where the top and side meet to form the rain gutter. It appears that the two were never properly welded together. This made it seem like the rear window was leaking.
