NEEDED - 97-01 XJ Hatch latch bolts.

I don't know how, but both of those stupid things managed to jump ship. The gate still latches, but I'm leary of opening it, and only do so when I have to.

 

The hardware stores around here suck and I haven't been able to find a bolt even close.

The bolts that hold the latch itself in place? I think I have those from my donor. Going to the property tomorrow, I'll pull em for you while I'm there

Yeah, the two that go in from the bottom of the gate into the latch. I'm still baffled as to how they went missing.

Must be. When I get new ones I'm definitely putting loctite on them.

It's becoming urgent I get ahold of some of these. My hatch won't open at all now, I'm 99.99% sure why, I can get it to open by getting through the inner trim, but I really need these bolts before I go messing with it, in case I can't get it to latch again.

If I crossed the correct bolts (2), they are Mopar p/n 6502623 and the specs are M8x1.25x23. These metric bolts should be available at any Fastenal or similar.

Awesome, I'll hit up the hardware stores in the morning after work. No Fastenals around here, but there's a pretty big hardware store just up the road. Thanks Don.
