jpdriver1
sounds like it might not be sitting in the detent at the bottom of the tank --- which would cause it to rattle
SW86
is that an easy fix? it doesnt seem like a rattle but more of like vvmmmm, click but not so much a click. if that makes sense. it does it non stop whenever its running.
KYMJ
You can hear mine only when it's low on fuel and it just started doing it. I'm ordering one just in case. I replaced mine with a cheapo Airtex 2 years ago.
juan
Did u replace the tank recently? I did in my xi an the after market tank I got did not have the indentation at the bottom of the tank like the factory one did and the pump never sat correctly so it vibrated like crazy. I ended up snaking a long spring from the filler neck to the pump to tie it in an the vibration stopped. It's been 10th years since and all is still.working fine. SW86
nope havent changed the tank but there is a huge dent in the front of it from a rock. i wouldnt think it would cause any problems since the noise just started and the dent has been there. two of you guys said it might not be sitting correctly, so i guess ill look into that first
