akamcbird Posted August 3, 2011 Share Posted August 3, 2011 ok..'90 4.0 ax15 231...occasionally while cruzen (on the skinny pedal, but just maintaining speed) i add just a bitt more go presure.. say 1-200rpm the engine revs as it should but i get no acceleration, for a quick second( long enough to notice not long enough to even get my eyes to the tach) this has happened 3-4 times in 4th over the last 2 weeks and once in 3rd today. what does this mean? any help is appreciated.
