flint54
Anyone ever think about how to change the setpoint of this silly light? I could just pull the bulb, but wouldn't mind if it came on at 3K instead of 2K.

It doesn't always come on a 2K -- it's controlled by a mix of vehicle speed, engine RPM and load (engine vacuum). I've seen mine tell me to upshift from 4th to 5th going UPHILL at 35 MPH. Brain-dead piece of enviro-crap.
Geonovast
That stupid light in my first XJ used to come on all the time in 5th cruising at 70. First thing I did with all my manual Jeeps was pop the cluster and take that light out.

ParadiseMJ
I thought that was a 1988 GPS to tell me which way I am going...forward. It's cool to have lights blinking on and off...like a 1950's computer...
