ncm1 Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 There is a pristine set of Ravines from a 2006 for sale here locally for $250. Since I never see them for sale around here I was wondering if this is too high. What do they usually go for? Here's a pic of one of them.
terrawombat Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 I would say $250 is a good price for a full set (5, not 4) of that style only if they are truly in perfect condition with no rock rash, chips, or aluminum cancer. I picked up a set of 5 Ravine's for $400, but two of them had brand spanking new Goodyear tires and the other three were around 50% tread. Personally, they're one of my favorite Jeep rims.
ncm1 Posted July 31, 2011 Author Posted July 31, 2011 You can tell where the original wheel weights were located, other than that they are perfect. And there are only 4 of them.
87Warrior Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 The Ravine wheel is my second most favorite Jeep wheel. I would not hesitate to plunk down $250 for a set of 4 in good shape. Granted they are nearly impossible to find in this area, so my opinion might be skewed.
Rymanrph Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I think that sounds pretty fair. I think I paid something about the same for mine when I got them. Think of it this way: if you don't buy them for that price and you have to wait six months or a year to find another pair in worse condition, would you be OK with that?
ncm1 Posted August 2, 2011 Author Posted August 2, 2011 Snatched 'em up for $220. Thanks for the input.
