HOrnbrod
Would be nice if it was powered by 12V switched. Wonder how long the batteries last since it's on all the time? Would be a PITA popping it out of the hole to change batteries.
Automan2164
Can't get any more factory, than well, factory. One overhead console / sensor and a bit of wiring. Rob :dunno:

[/hijack] Don't have one, but they are DIRT SIMPLE to put in. All you need is the console, and the ambient temp sensor behind the grill. As far as wiring goes, IIRC, its just power, ground, ignition, illumination, and the wires from the temp sensor. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jeepcoman ... 5/pic/list Rob

Rob Yup, the older ones don't have all the cool functions like the gas mileage and odometer, so they are very simple to add in.

Ya, I might personally solder in a switch where I could switch back and forth on the go, sometimes its nice to see the superior metric system readings. Timmaay
How long is the temp lead? Long enough to go from the dash to say, the front bumper?
mvusse
About three feet. I'm putting mine in the cowl in front of the windshield. Still don't know where the display is going, though. I wanted to put it below the clock, but the clock circuitry is in the way.
