xjrev10 Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Will an off the self LA suspension (front obviously) work with a MJ? Specifically a Iron Rock Offroad setup. http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merchant ... y_Code=XLK This minus the XJ parts. Actually I'm planning to use 4- 4.5 coils with JKS ACOS.. XJ will be gone, new build is brewing in my head.. .
mkbruin Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Usually they do... occasionally they require minor modifications, but nothing that can't be solved by a grinder and 5 minutes.
Automan2164 Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 I am a big fan of the BDS longarm setup. Rob
mkbruin Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 IRO is some solid gear.... my personal favorite is TNT Customs.
xjrev10 Posted April 23, 2011 Author Posted April 23, 2011 I have TNT LAs in my XJ. I like IRO cuz they are somewhat local to me.. well within 250 miles anyway.. IRO or Clayton will be in this build. Cannot wait to start....
mkbruin Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Ah... missed who the original poster was. Sometime I'll build one with a Poly 4 link kit.
xjrev10 Posted April 25, 2011 Author Posted April 25, 2011 anybody got a undershot of a LAed MJ handy?
Garvin Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 anybody got a undershot of a LAed MJ handy? You looking for an off the shelf long arm setup pic or any pic? I have a custom 3-link on mine that I built that I have a few pics of.
Dirteatr717 Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 I'm ordering the Clayton LA upgrade when I gather up the dough, I've heard only good things about it and from what I've seen in person it's a great kit for the price.... I wouldn't go with rough country because of the tc drop and the tranny mount bolts are unprotected!
