Sappersoldier88
Ok, so i picked up a newer wiring harness to fit onto my 1988 Comanche Pioneer with the new front headliner. So i pulled out the haynes manual, started following wires and naming them and what not and came up with this. Once that was done, I started doing some simplyfing and started connecting wires. Once i had each of them connected I went down and tried it, Headlights and two of the front parking lights worked, one on either side, none of the turn signals were working, and neither side lamp was lit. So finding that to not work, i ran up stairs, re wired a little and came up with this. This time, both front parking lamps came on on each side, really bright, but still no turn signal action nor side lamp lighting. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! or point me to the thread that holds the answers. I searched on here for hours and couldnt find what i was looking for.

Sappersoldier88
Ok, so i figuered it out, it was the first attempt schematic, some of my bulbs were bad, so i replaced them all and checked all my wiring and got it to work. here's a better look at the diagram of basiclly what i did. Using the Older harness end with about 7-8"s of wire on it connecting to the identified colors on the new harness.
'87 fuel-miser
is there another diagram for this ? my "new" harness ( 10 wires ) has differant color wires ... for example : black w/wht stripe , grn w/wht stripe , no brown 2 "reds" instead of 3 .... no , i haven't actually tried to hook everything up yet ( not wanting to blow fuses / blubs , ect .. ) just wondering if anyone else has encountered this thanks , and have a safe labor day weekend !
