reson46
What type of bender do you have? That really needs to be one of my next purchases.....if I can find a place to store it in the garage. :D Willy
Exxon Valdez Jeep
JD2 with an 1.75 die. I love it, having a bender just opens up new possibilities. Mines mounted on the back deck currently!

reson46
Nice! Does it have an identity crisis? Does it not know if it is a 4.8L or 5.3L? Willy
Exxon Valdez Jeep
supposedly 5.3 from a 01 suburban with 90k on it. I'll have to find out how to verify that. It has some tags from the P&P the guy got it from, but I don't think it had a VIN # or anything like that. Either way, I need a car intake to get it under the hood and I'm going to send the harness and ECU off to get tuned and chopped. I'm not the worlds bestest wiring fanatic. Cable throttle body is already on it. I thought about getting an NV4500, but I think for now my NV3550 is going to have to work. My money tree needs some miracle grow! Exxon Valdez Jeep
Aweome!! What are your plans, keep the truck accessories and run an LS1 intake? Yeah thats the plan. Moved back to Texas, currently have no place to work on this thing and its sitting up in overflow parking with a dead starter. :( I'll get some motivation for this thing when a few other things get sorted out... Exxon Valdez Jeep
^^^^^^^^Made me sad about my truck. I went out, the starter barely cranked it over, fired up and I drove around town for about an hour. Ordering a starter from RockAuto now

ilovemybike
I'm excited for this build. :wrench: When you send your harness out make sure they change the injector plugs to match your intake.
Exxon Valdez Jeep
picked up an LS6 intake while I was in Austin today, should fit nicely under the hood and add a bit of power. In the mean time, I've been enjoying 11 mpgs, the AC stopped working, and everything else that goes with the MJ!
