STERLING STINGER
a couple months ago, i was having a problem with my gas gauge not reading full, it just went to 3/4 when i filled it. the other day, i got fuel and noticed my gauge went all the way up to full now.... here's the kicker.... instead of 14mpg....i now get 16.. i have ran 2 tanks of fuel through it now and both tanks i got 16 mpg..... :dunno: I'm not complaining by any means, but i don't have a clue how it happened....i did nothing???? any ideas old friends? comanche12
Winter gas ==> Summer gas thats would be possible but i forget whats different between winter gas and summer gas? different thick of gas for tempature like Oil's?
Eagle
Winter gas ==> Summer gas thats would be possible but i forget whats different between winter gas and summer gas? different thick of gas for tempature like Oil's? They change the formulation for winter. I don't remember the specifics, but generally "winter" gas delivers about 2 MPG less than "summer" gas. That could explain the gas mileage difference, but it won't explain the fuel gauge antics.
