one more tranny swap question

I found out that reverse in my tranny is gone. If I wanted a 5 speed what tranny should I look for. Does it have to come from a 2wd? I am thinking a 2wd will be harder to find

dirteater717 is correct an ax5 out of a 2wd as the splines count and output ahfts are different from the 2wd to 4wd, however i once came across a write up on putting an ax15 out of a dodge dakota in but not to sure as a direct bolt in you will need an ax5
