akamcbird Posted January 29, 2011 Share Posted January 29, 2011 it seems my crank pulley resents the rest of the motor. the belt is sitting one rib tward the motor and it looks like the pulley is 1\8 -1\4" forward of the other pulleys. thoughts? recommendations? cause? i tried turning the nut, while in gear and it just rocked the truck. 91coMANche Posted January 29, 2011 Share Posted January 29, 2011 That is called a vibration damper and the rubber in it has walked out causing the belt to ride incorrectly. Just buy a new one.
