artimus
I have a newer deck, and the little red security light didnt even flash, but i moved around a fuse and got it to start blinking. Still after that when i hook the faceplate up, the faceplate gets no power even though the little red security light flashes. does anyone know do i need a new faceplate? JeffN
Try using an eraser over the terminals on the back of the faceplate and the front of the radio. Give them a good buffing till they are shiny brass again

Jay
I had the same problem with a sony x-plode I put in my 86. I changed the radio fuse in my fuse box, the inline fuse that came with the wiring harness, and the fuse on the back of the radio, never had a problem after that.
