jeepaholic
How much lift is a simple rear soa with no blocks gonna create...aproximately...
Motion Offroad
5-7" of lift depending on what type (2wd or 4wd) and the condition of the factory packs. Also the spring perches you choose to use, and what axle you have will play a role in the lift amount. We recommend using a 6.5" coil in the front in SOA rear applications. jeepaholic
Its the original pack (like new) and stock axle...If this is the case and I need to go with 6.5" coils in the front I will also need control arms and transfer case drop right...How about pricing me this and also a set of new motor mounts (4.0) if you can. mnkyboy
You don't need a t case drop. You do need control arms, track bar, brake lines, and shocks. Prices are gonna vary a lot depending on manufacture and design.
jeepaholic
I was checking out the kit from rocky-road..it looks like there kit comes with everything but control arms...rough country's kit seems to include everything for 999.95...The two kits look to be about the same price when you add in the optional stuff to equal the rough country... cody4359
Is a 2wd spring pack likely to give less lift? and i have the rocky road drop brackets on my xj and was not too fond of the fitment. where the 2 brackets joined there was a large gap that needed shims to be made so i couldnt see daylight between the pieces, and if i recall shipping took quite a while to get to me

There is only one bracket on each side with the drop brackets, the second piece is a brace that is there to keep the brackets from hanging up on things. Its actually optional some companies don't even include them. Tighter fitting would be nice but really not that important. I do agree that their shipping is very slow. As for their lift,if you bought everything you would have a decent lift. the thing I don't like about it is they only use 3" coils (OME934) then put 2"-3" of pucks on top The RC lift would probably work better but as far as I know RC doesn't make drop brackets for the MJ
