flint54
Borla #17010 says for 87-90, and Borla #17020 says for 91-92. I'm so far unable to find info on the technical difference between the two. I have a 92, but found a #17010 locally. Any of you know the difference? Thanks!
johnnyc
Your 92 is an HO, the 87-90 are Renix. So they are two different headers. FWIW, I've had the same Borla header on a 96 XJ, 98 XJ, and now my 92 MJ.
maddzz1
The main difference is the way the down pipe is angled. One goes straight down and the other bends.
jpnjim
I have no experience with either Borla, but the factory Renix header has a provision for the EGR, and the O2 sensor. HO does not have EGR, and moved the O2 sensor to the headpipe.
JeepcoMJ
btw borla headers DON'T work with a mid '99 or newer intake manifold, unless you're good at massaging metal with a bit of heat.
