91coMANche Posted January 7, 2011 Share Posted January 7, 2011 Would super sloppy wipers mean the wiper motor is going bad or the linkage? I can pick up the wipers and swing them back and forth before they hit a stop. I suspect that issue is the linkage. They are also kind of slow at times which I suspect is the motor. alleydog Posted January 8, 2011 Share Posted January 8, 2011 My wiper motor was shot on my 89 comanche, so I got one from a 92 cherokee. everything was the same except for the plug. I just made an adapter harness from the plug from the old motor and the plug from the 92 xj body harness. I'm not sure how new you can go on changeability.
