fbtased2002
So today I noticed a puddle on the passenger floor. Looks to be leaking around the wing window. So since I can't just fix the leak like a normal person and I can't afford to get new doors could I convert just to new glass and seals in the old doors? MJRemi
I don't know about the 97+ glass but it would be fairly easy to just replace your wings with fixed wings, assuming the leak is from the pivoting wings. You can grab fixed wings off most XJs for a decent price. Be sure to update all the weatherstripping.
SW86
didnt they go to full windows later on, so I'm thinking that won't work. just go to a JY and youll be fixed up in no time, for cheap. if you have a standard color just swipe a whole door of a cherokee. cherokee
it's possible but it's a fair amount of work. old doors need to be modified, you need the new glass, regulators, seals, and maybe some other parts that i can't think of right now. lop out the cross section, drill out the rivets, carefully position and drill holes for the regulator, test fit everything.
