MJ'87
when i lift my MJ, what other parts will i need to replace. I'm not going for the cheap "add a leaf" or block kit, I'm gonna get the 5" full travel lift
dfreeman616
depends on what you want, and what kind of budget you have. for that much lift, i'd recomend some long arms for the front, but you may be able to use either drop brackets or at least adjustable control arms. probably a good trac bar, perhaps a drop pitman arm to keep your steering angles ok. extended sway bar links or disconnects are also a good idea. for rear, are you going spring over axle or longer springs? long or short bed comanche? i've had more experience with the cherokee's, but i'm not sure how the size of the comanche effects driveshaft angle. you may need a slip yoke eliminator and driveshaft, or maybe just some good shims and a longer slip yoke will work for you. maybe someone else can give better advice for that matter? feerocknok
All I can think of is brake lines, lower control arms, swar bar end links, adjustable tracbar, shocks, coils, spring perches, and u-bolts. MJs have a much longer wheelbase than XJs, so they don't seem to get the vibes as easily.
Oizarod115
you can run shortarms with that much lift, but its not gonna flex worth a #$@^ the cheapest alternative is drop brackets, then longarms. tracbar, brakelines, shocks no SYE needed.
